2 Utah schools drop in national best college’s ranking list

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - The 2011 ranking of America’s best colleges has been released and both the University of Utah and BYU saw a drop in rankings.
SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - The 2011 ranking of America’s best colleges has been released and both the University of Utah and BYU saw a drop in rankings.

U.S. News publishes the annual rankings of school, academic programs along with other categories.

The U dropped from 126 to 129 and BYU fell from 71 to 75.

The BYU business school ranked 34 and the U’s business school ranked 67.

The opinion of high school counselors and graduation rates are a few of the factors that contributed to the drop in rankings.

Westminster College ranked as the 23rd best regional college, Weber State ranked at 56 and Southern Utah ranked at 75.

Harvard came out on top followed by Princeton and Yale.
