Thousands enjoy the Pioneer Day Parade

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - From the colorful floats to the pioneer costumes and covered wagons, thousands of Utahns came out to take in the sights of the Pioneer Day parade.

To get a great spot one must come prepared with plenty of food, water and blankets and tents. But it's all worth it for the family who say it's not just about getting an unobstructed view, but most importantly spending the time with each other.
