COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah
(ABC 4 News) – A motorist is arrested after shooting at another car in an apparent fit of road rage.
It happened Saturday around 5 p.m. at 3000 East and Juliet Way in Cottonwood Heights. Police are not saying what led to the driver pulling out a pellet gun and opening fire, but they say he’s facing some serious felony charges including aggravated discharge of a firearm, discharge of a firearm from a motor vehicle and criminal mischief.
Police say it was lucky no one was seriously injured. The only damage was a couple of dents and missing paint chips.
The suspect was arrested after the victim gave police vehicle description and license plate number. Police were able to trace the plate to the suspect’s address where they found the pellet gun.
