Prisoner Alexa Hamme was found unresponsive by a corrections housing officer in her cell Sunday. .
Police say there were no obvious signs of trauma or foul play.
Following protocol, this incident is under investigation and reports by the medical examiner are pending.
Hamme was booked into jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance involving heroin and amphetamine. She was also charged with two counts of endangerment of child/adult, failure to stop at the command of a police officer, drug paraphernalia.
