Police seek information on SLC hit-and-run incident

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Salt Lake City Police investigators were seeking information on a hit-and-run incident that left a young man with critical injuries on Friday.
SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Salt Lake City Police investigators were seeking information on a hit-and-run incident that left a young man with critical injuries on Friday.

Police say that at approximately 2:00 p.m., a light blue or silver/metallic colored minivan or sport utility vehicle was travelling east on 300 South when it collided with a 20-year-old man skateboarding near 900 East.

Police say the suspect vehicle most likely sustained a broken right-side headlight in the collision.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with a broken leg and a possible skull fracture.

Police asked that anyone with information on the crash to call (801) 799-3000 or text TIPSLCPD plus a confidential message or photo to CRIMES (274637).
