Police find vehicle used in hit and run

MILLCREEK Utah (ABC 4 Utah) - A woman is recovering after she was struck by a motorist Tuesday. Police have yet to find the driver but Thursday located the vehicle used in the hit and run.
MILLCREEK Utah (ABC 4 Utah) – Police have located a car believed used in a hit and run Tuesday.
A 43-year old bicyclist was hit while riding along 2300 East near 3800 South. Police say the driver of the vehicle left the scene and hasn’t been found.

“We do believe this vehicle we've located is the one involved in the accident because of the damage which is consistent with the accident that took place on Tuesday.

The vehicle, a grey Acura TL was found abandoned Thursday morning near 4581 South Aspen Hollow Lane according to police. Lt. Hoyal says detectives will be seeking a search warrant to look inside the vehicle to determine who the car belongs to.

The suspect has not been found. He is described as a white male, approximately 30 years old with short and spikey brown hair.

She was struck during the morning rush hour Tuesday.

“Witnesses tell us that the bicyclist was on the shoulder area and witnesses tell us the Acura just drifted to the right and struck that bicycle,” says Lt. Hoyal.

He says the bicyclist remains in critical condition.
