SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 Utah) - National Charity League girls went on a shopping spree Wednesday, buying items for Utah charities who always need some help.

NCL girls split up based on grade level and went shopping, on a budget of $369.50, for an assigned charity. The group coming closest to their budget, without going over, won the "competition."

The philanthropies the girls shopped for are: The Sharing Place, The Children Center, Ronald McDonald House, The Road Home, Camp Kostopulos and The Utah Food Bank.

The money spent for this shopping spree was raised through the sale of Holiday Greens this past year.

National Charity League (NCL) is a national organization of mothers and daughters dedicated to volunteerism and supporting philanthropies through hands-on support.
