Man flees from police, throws drugs out car window

COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah (ABC 4 News) – A suspected drug dealer in Cottonwood Heights had a rough night.
COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah (ABC 4 News) – A suspected drug dealer in Cottonwood Heights had a rough night.

On Friday, Police tried to pull over a driver for a traffic violation, but he sped off.

Officers found him a short time later, stopped on the I-15 ramp at 7200 South.

The suspect ran again and throws a large bad of marijuana out of the window.

Police ran his license plates and headed for the man’s house.

The man arrived home and police arrested him. According to Police the man admitted he was intending to sell the drugs.

The man has been arrested and charged with DUI, no registration, no license, possession, drug dealing, attempting to flee officer.
