Brothers jailed for ko'ing victims

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Four victims were hospitalized after two brothers allegedly beat them up.
SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - A conversation with someone's girlfriend landed four people in the hospital.
Two brothers, Chrystopher and Terence Mccullough were jailed shortly after midnight Saturday after police claim they were angry with four men who were seen talking to one of the brother's girlfriend.
Police claim the four men were smoking cigarettes in the alley when the woman approached them.

"(She) asked if they'd seen her boyfriend," says Mike Hamideh of the Salt Lake City police department.

She left when the men said no. But police say the women's boyfriend Chrystopher McCullough returned.

"The victim described Chrystopher as enraged and was visibly upset," says Hamideh.

That's when police say the two brothers brutally attacked the four men sending them to the hospital.
A jail report showed that the men suffered broken bones in the nose, cheekbone and sustained severe eye damage.
All because of a girlfriend.

"Chrystopher was upset the victim spoke to his girlfriend," says Hamideh.

Police say waiting for the Mccullough's to throw the first punch delayed help. Authorities want victims to call 911 before it's too late.

"It would have been appropriate to call 911 and have officers get there as quickly as possible," says Hamideh.
