The statement was written by Kimball Thomson, a representative for the family.
Thomson confirmed that the charges against Keith Scott Brown stem from alleged abuse involving the Brown daughters.
Keith Brown was rescued from a car crash in Little Cottonwood Canyon Monday night.
It was later discovered that Brown was scheduled to appear in court on Thursday to answer 3 felony child sex abuse charges, stemming from incidents in the 1990s.
Below is the complete statement from Thomson:
We can confirm that Keith Brown has been charged with sexual abuse involving his daughters. They are currently cooperating with local law enforcement and the Utah County prosecutor’s office.
