Cody is a wonderful and devoted husband, father to two children (June, age 5 and Max, age 3) with another daughter due to arrive in July, and friend to many in the community.
Considering the scope of his injuries, Cody is exceeding expectations and surprising doctors and therapists with how much he has progressed in just a month. His surgeries have all had optimal results, and hope continues that Cody will make a full recovery. Each day he wakes up ready to conquer new goals in his physical and occupational therapy.
In spite of this amazing progress, however, the sad reality is that the financial burden of this accident, his surgeries, and now therapy, are adding up very quickly for the Walker family.
Cody's insurance plan only covers 15 days of therapy, while doctors are advising 60 days in order to help facilitate his continued road to full recovery. With costs at approximately $2,500 per day for therapy, this treatment plan is becoming a considerable expense, compounded by Cody not being able to work at present.
The goal of this event is to raise the additional funds needed to facilitate Cody's continued physical and occupational therapy. 100% of proceeds go towards this purpose.
