In Utah, every eight minutes someone needs blood. The Red Cross strives to collect about 440 units of blood every day to meet the needs of the more than 30 hospitals we serve in the state.

The Red Cross is now scheduling summer blood drives. Those who wish to host a blood drive are encouraged to call 1-800-RED CROSS or go online to redcrossblood.org for more information.
