What is juicing and why is it important?
To give you a little background, less than 25% of Utahns get at least three servings of fruits and vegetables every day. With that staggering number, it’s no wonder why rates of obesity, heart disease, type two diabetes and other life-threatening (& diet-related) diseases are continually on the rise. Whenever we talked to our friends or family about eating healthy, locally-sourced and organically-grown produce, we were hit with how it was too expensive, inaccessible, or unrealistic with our busy lifestyles – so we decided to do something about it.
So what is Vive Juicery?
Vive Juicery is a mobile juice cart, traveling across different locations in downtown SLC. We offer bike delivery, a glass bottle exchange and online ordering to reduce our carbon footprint and make it convenient and accessible for everyone to get their fruits and vegetables every single day. Our juices stay fresh for up to 72 hours so you can stock up and be set for your busy mornings. We’ll be partnering with co-ops and distribution centers across the Wasatch Front to bring fresh, cold-pressed juice to the entire valley. We are committed to supporting local farms and the local economy, which is why all the produce you see here is sourced directly from Utah farms and gardens.
All the produce you see here is cold-pressed into these juices. Here we have four of our favorite juice recipes that pack a punch of flavor, vitamins, minerals and enzymes – all which keep you happy, healthy and energized all day. We bottle our juices in glass because it retains the flavor of the juice, is the safest material to drink from and reduces the amount of garbage that ends up in our landfills. We offer a bottle exchange program where you bring back your old bottle to receive $1.50 off your next juice.
When and where can we get juice from you?
Staying true to our community-centered foundation, we are currently in the final days of our Kickstarter campaign. We are reaching out to the community to make Vive Juicery come to life. We plan to be open in August and can’t wait to bring health in a bottle to Salt Lake City. To make things even more exciting, we are throwing a Kickstarter Fundraising Party July 16th at Zest Kitchen + Bar (275 S. 200 W.). $10 gets you entrance and a raffle ticket for a chance to win some sweet prizes. We’ll also have fresh juice samplings, locally-sourced food, creative cocktails and a unique entertainment experience by La Rouge Entertainment Studios, another local Utah company.
