Dad Pleasing Bacon Wrapped Steak Dogs
2 Sirloin steaks
4 strips bacon
¼ cup apricot preserves
1 Tbsp. Sriracha hot sauce
4 hoagie style buns
Cut each steak lengthwise into two equal pieces. Wrap each steak piece with one piece of bacon. Secure the bacon ends with toothpicks.
Grill or pan fry the steak dogs until the bacon is crispy, turning once (about 5 minutes per side). Remove toothpicks.
While the steak is cooking, combine apricot and sriracha. Mix well.
Place the cooked steak inside either a hoagie or hotdog bun, top with apricot hot sauce and cilantro.
