Take Shape for Life

The doctor behind "Take Shape for Life" is in Salt Lake City offering free seminars.
Two months ago our ABC 4 Utah General Manager Richard Doutre Jones started an Optimal Health Program called Take Shape for Life.  He wanted to get to a healthy weight and learn how to keep it off.  He started at 246 pounds and is down to 218.  **Results will vary.  Typical weight loss is 2-5 lbs. per week the first two weeks then 1-2 lbs. per week thereafter.

Friday, Dr. Wayne Scott Anderson, "Dr. A",  the best selling author, one of America's "Top Physicians", according to the American Consumer Council and the medical director and co-founder of Take Shape for Life -- the program Richard used -- came on Good Things Utah.  Greg Rex, a certified health coach who lost 50 pounds by using "Dr. A's Habits of Health"... and has kept his weight off more more than eleven years also talked about the program.

Dr. A says diets don't work.  But Take Shape for Life does work because it awakens intrinsic motivation and gives people a path and the tools and support of a qualified health coach. Studies show having a health coach is key.

Dr. A is in Salt Lake City for a couple of free health seminars.  They are:
