Recipe Title: Fanny's Recipe Fried Chicken
Yeild/Amount: 1 Whole Chicken
2 qts. Frying Oil
1 Whole Chicken
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Pepper
½ cup Louisianna Hot Sauce
2 cups All Purpose Flour
1 Tbsp. Old Bay Seasoning
Heat the oil in a heavy bottom pot to 340 degrees.
Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then rub it real good with the hot sauce.
Mix the Old Bay into the flour. Roll the chicken pieces lightly in the flour to coat, then place directly
into the hot oil one piece at a time.
When the chicken reads 150 degrees with a thermometer, remove from the oil and allow to rest ten
minutes before serving.
