Millcreek Gardens

LaRene Bautner from Millcreek Gardens talks about the importance of trees.
LaRene Bautner from Millcreek Gardens talks about the importance of trees.  Arbor Day is tomorrow, and Millcreek Gardens has many choices of trees that are ready to be planted.

Also this weekend, Millcreek Gardens has geraniums for just 99 cents...

This weekend will be nice, and many people will be working in their gardens.  LaRene says it is a great time to plant snapdragons, Dusty Miller's, Pansies and Petunias.  But be careful with other flowers such as begonias and impatiens.  Tender flowers and plants need to be covered at night if it gets below 35 degrees.

LaRene says you can also plant veggies like carrots, beans, leafy greens and corn.  But be careful of tomatoes, cucumber, squash and melons.  It's a little too early for those plants.

Mother's Day is a good rule of thumb to begin planting everything.
