Earn Your Degree at UVU

Now is the time for non-traditional students to complete their college degrees and it's not too late to enroll for fall semester at Utah Valley University.
Sharon Dauwalder came to Utah Valley University in 2009 as a 49-year-old freshman with five kids.  She decided to go back to school at that time of her life because her husband's health was declining and she knew she would have to work to support her family.

She says at first, starting college was intimidating, until she noticed her classmates seemed to be turning to her for help.  Everyone wanted her to be in their group for assignments.

Sharon earned bachelor degrees in English Writing Studies and Digital Media and graduated Magna Cum Lade.

Anne Wairepo, Ph.D. is the Director of the UVU Women's Success Center which inspires, supports, and develops women's aspirations and commitments to set and complete degree-based educational goals.  The WSC invites women of all backgrounds to engage and advance in academic programs that prepare them for meaningful lifetime work in their homes, workplaces, communities and beyond.

Now is the time to come back to school.  You still have time to enroll for Fall Semester.. you just have to apply by August 1st, 2013.
