NEW YORK, NY (ABC News) – Arthur Boorman, an internet weight loss sensation, credits yoga to helping him lose over 100 pounds.

Nearly 3 million people have viewed his body transformation on YouTube.

“I was up late on a search engine just typing different things and I typed in yoga and broken back, and up popped Dallas Page,” Boorman said.

The yoga program is called DDP. It stands for Dallas Diamond Page, an intense former wrestler who thought yoga could use a pumping up.

Boorman, a former war veteran, had back issues. Plus, he had grown obese to the point where he couldn’t stand or walk without leg braces. Still, he decided to try to the DVD set.

“The big part of it was getting your head right,” Boorman said. “Once my mind was in the right place, it was just a matter of getting the work done.”

Boorman slowly started seeing himself shrink, tighten and strengthen.

The yoga regimen centers on slow, deep resistance movements responsible for hiking your cardio rate and getting the body to work against itself.

Boorman is now a yoga teacher and can walk and run on his own.

“It’s a different kind of yoga,” Boorman added. “We make a joke; it ain’t your momma’s yoga.”
